Night Operators runs an authorized dealer program for retailers, outfitters, ranges, training providers and online stores. We build analog Gen 2+ night vision and sell it direct, which means your wholesale cost starts from a retail price that is already a fraction of what the dealer market charges for the same tube class.
What the program actually gives you.
We are the manufacturer's direct channel, not a distributor reselling someone else's catalogue. That is the whole reason these numbers work.
Discounts scale with order volume, and the structure is split by category: analog units sit on one schedule and accessories on a more generous one, because the build economics are completely different. Full pricing is issued with your dealer packet on approval.
No dealer may advertise below MSRP in any public channel. You can quote what you like privately to a customer standing in front of you, but nobody gets to race you to the bottom online. Violations trigger a tier reset and a program review, not a warning email.
New dealers can take a single demo unit per SKU on a one-time basis, so you can put a real tube in front of your own customers before you place a stocking order. Nobody should have to buy a shelf of something they have never looked through.
Each PVS-14 and PVS-31 PRO ships with a printed sheet showing the measured numbers for that serial: resolution, signal to noise, figure of merit and a blemish map. Your customer sees the data for the tube in their hand, which closes sales that spec sheets do not.
Accounts open on prepayment. Once you have a track record with us, payment terms extend and the discount improves. We would rather grow with a dealer who sells well than hand terms to someone who has not shipped anything yet.
Established dealers can apply for marketing credit against trailing purchases, usable for trade shows, print or paid social. Applications are reviewed quarterly. Available once you are past the entry tier.

Analog units are built to order against tube allocation, so lead times are real and we quote them honestly rather than promising stock we do not have. Digital and accessories move fast.

Things worth knowing before you apply
- We sell direct and we are not hiding it. nightoperators.com sells at MSRP and will continue to. You are not being asked to compete with us on price, you are being asked to compete on service, local knowledge, hands-on stock and the fact that a customer can look through the tube before buying. We protect that with MAP.
- Analog units are made to order. Tube allocation and assembly start quickly, so cancellations after the first day carry a restocking charge. We will always tell you the real ship date at quote rather than after the PO.
- Territories are non-exclusive. We do not carve up regions, but we do keep distribution balanced and we will not flood your area. Established partners can raise regional preference with us and we will listen.
- Our analog line is Gen 2+, not Gen 3. If a customer needs Gen 3 filmless performance, send them to a Gen 3 dealer. We would rather you keep the customer's trust than force a sale that comes back.
- Export control applies. Image intensified night vision is subject to United States export control. International dealer accounts are reviewed individually and shipped prepaid only.

Decisions typically land within five business days. Approved dealers receive the full price list, the tier structure, terms and conditions and an order form template.
An opening order activates the account, and you can start with a single evaluation unit per SKU if you would rather see the product before committing to stock.
Business name and the legal entity behind it.
Federal tax ID or resale certificate. We do not open accounts without one.
Physical address for the business, not a mail drop.
Brick and mortar or e-commerce, and which one is your primary channel.
Current product lines you carry. Tells us where we fit on your shelf.
Estimated annual night vision purchasing volume. A rough number is fine, it sets your opening tier.

No portal, no forms to chase. Email the details and you will get a decision from a person, usually inside five business days, along with the full dealer packet if approved.
