Night Operators — Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

Night vision is a made-to-order product. Every analog unit in our PVS line is assembled, collimated, and quality-checked to your specific tube assignment after you place the order — not pulled off a shelf. This policy is written to be transparent about exactly what that means for lead times, what ships from where, and what happens if you need to cancel.


Lead Times by Product Line

Digital Line (Viper, Viper Pro, future digital products)

Our digital monoculars are fulfilled by our original manufacturing partner under a streamlined production and inspection process.

  • Standard lead time: approximately 1 week from order confirmation to shipment.
  • Peak season: up to 3 weeks (typically October–December and around major sales events) due to volume and our strict QC pass on every unit.

Tracking is sent via email the same day the carrier label prints.


PVS-14 Monocular Line

The PVS-14 line is built on a per-order basis with tubes hand-selected to your FOM tier. Lead times scale with FOM tier because higher-tier tubes require deeper inventory pulls and more rigorous collimation passes.

Heat (white phosphor) variants — Standard and PRO housings alike — follow the same lead time as their FOM tier.


PVS-31 Dual-Tube Binocular Line

Our PVS-31 is fully hand-built. Every unit goes through lab-grade collimation across both pods, tube-pair matching (tubes are hand-selected and paired before housing assembly), and a final QC pass against our spec floor. This process is non-negotiable on our end — it is the reason this unit exists at this price.

If your unit clears collimation and QC sooner than the upper bound of your tier, tracking is sent the moment the carrier label prints — you will not be sitting on the upper estimate by default.


Accessories & Non-Tube Items

Helmet mounts (L4 G24-pattern and equivalent), NGAL / PEQ-pattern lasers, helmets, sacrificial lenses, soft cases, batteries, and other accessories ship from whichever warehouse currently holds stock.

  • Most accessories ship within 2–3 business days of order placement when stock is available in our primary fulfillment warehouse.
  • Accessories may ship separately from your goggle. If the goggle is still in production and the accessory is in stock, we do not hold ready-to-ship items hostage to a still-being-assembled analog unit — the accessory goes out first.
  • Some items may ship from an overseas fulfillment warehouse depending on stock distribution at the time of your order. If your accessory is shipping from an international warehouse, this will be disclosed in your order confirmation, and you can expect 7–14 business days for international transit to your door.

International accessory shipments are duties-prepaid by us where applicable, so nothing additional is owed on delivery.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because our PVS units are made-to-order and we begin tube pulling, housing prep, and assembly queueing within hours of your order being placed, our cancellation policy is structured to cover the material and labor costs already committed once production starts.

Timing Refund Policy
Within 24 hours of order placement Full refund. No restocking fee. Production has not yet started on your unit.
More than 24 hours after order placement, before shipment 10% restocking fee. Tube pulling, housing prep, and collimation queueing have begun. These costs cannot be recovered once a tube has been pulled for your specific FOM tier.
After delivery, within 14 days of receipt 30% restocking fee. Unit must be returned in original condition with all included accessories. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Refund issued within 5 business days of unit being received and inspected at our fulfillment center.
More than 14 days after receipt No refund. Warranty coverage applies — see our warranty policy.

These fees are not punitive — they cover what an in-progress cancellation actually costs us. Every made-to-order analog unit cancelled mid-build leaves a partially-assembled housing, a tube that may not match another customer's spec, and labor hours that cannot be reassigned. We charge what the cancellation actually costs, not more.

Digital line cancellations follow the same 24-hour / 10% / 30% structure, but the production cost basis is lower, so we will review case-by-case if cancellation falls within the first few business days of order placement and waive the 10% fee where possible.

Accessory-only orders can be cancelled at any time before shipment with no restocking fee. After delivery, accessories follow standard return terms: 14 days, original condition, customer pays return shipping, no restocking fee on unopened items.


Shipping Costs & Coverage

  • Domestic U.S. orders: Free shipping on all goggle orders. Accessories under $100 ordered separately ship at flat rate; accessories $100+ ship free.
  • International orders: Worldwide shipping available. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are prepaid by us on all goggle orders — the unit lands at your door with nothing additional owed. Some restricted-destination accessory orders (lasers, helmets, etc.) may require additional documentation; we will reach out directly if so.

Communication During Production

You will receive the following emails on every order:

  1. Order confirmation — sent immediately upon order placement.
  2. Production midpoint update — sent halfway through your tier's lead time so you know your unit is moving.
  3. Shipment notification + tracking — sent the moment the carrier label prints.
  4. Delivery confirmation — sent when the carrier marks the package delivered.

If at any point during production you have questions about your order status, reply to your order confirmation email and you will reach a real person, usually within one business day.
